A note on the incidence of internally-borne Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in soybean seed harvested in New South Wales
1986
Stovold, G.E. | Priest, M.J. (New South Wales Dept. of Agriculture, Rydalmere (Australia). Biological and Chemical Research Inst.)
Seed infection with mycelium is rare in New South Wales. However, mycelium was present in cotyledon and embryo tissue in diseased seed and it is therefore unlikely to be eliminated by chemical treatment. Seed infection levels in other countries are sometimes much higher and may be related to environmental conditions during seed maturation.
