The influence of flow discharge on sediment concentrations in raindrop induced flow transport [soil erosion mechanisms]

In laboratory experiments, gentle flows over uniform sands were impacted by drops travelling at near terminal velocity. The results indicated that sediment concentrations generated by raindrop impact do not change greatly with discharge unless appreciable changes in flow depth are associated with the changes in discharge.
