Observation of spring-frost damage in different cultivars of Vitis vinifera L. in the Umbria region [on 1991]

anglais. The low temperatures, occurred between April 21st and 25th 1991, damaged almost all shoots in the cultivars examined in two Umbrian environments. In the first one (Fabbri) Cabernet Franc, Riesling Renano, and Sagrantino were less damaged than Moscato bianco, Moscato giallo, Pinot grigio, Riesling Italico, Sauvignon, Muller Thurgau, Traminer and above all Pinot bianco, Pinot nero and Trebbiano Toscano. In the other environment (Sant'Apollinare) Garganega was les damaged than Barbera, Ciliegiolo, Grechetto, Malvasia, Merlot, Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano and Verdicchio. Development of secondary and crown shoots and their fertility were also examined in relation to vegetative and productive recovery

Nella prima (Fabbri) il Cabernet Franc, il Riesling Renano e il Sagrantino erano meno danneggiate del Moscato bianco, Moscato giallo, Pinot grigio, Riesling Italico, Sauvignon, Muller Thurgau, Traminer e soprattutto del Pinot bianco, Pinot nero e Trebbiano Toscano. Nell'altra zona (Sant'Apollinare) il Garganega e' stato danneggiato meno del Barbera, Ciliegiolo, Grechetto, Malvasia, Merlot, Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano e Verdicchio. Sono stati anche esaminati lo sviluppo di gemme secondarie e superiori e la loro fertilita' in relazione al recupero vegetativo e produttivo]
