Trials on 11 eucalypt species showed that in conjunction with host health mistletoes could be partially controlled on most species. The best results were given by Roundup or Garlon injected at the rate of 1 mL per cut, with cuts spaced at 10 cm intervals around the lower trunk. The most effective months for treatment were generally January and June. Smaller diameter trees were significantly more susceptible to death after injection than larger trees.
