1990
Muir, S.J. (New South Wales Agriculture and Fisheries, Cobar (Australia)) (comp.)
Aims to quantify the nutritive status of commonly selected species from five vegetation classes and incorporate this information in management of livestock and pastures in the rangelands. The vegetation classes are: palatable trees and shrubs; perennial chenopods; perennial grasses; winter-growing annual herbage; chenopod sub-shrubs. The nutritive parameters are: dry matter content; nitrogen; acid-detergent fibre; lignin; digestibility; organic matter; metabolisable energy. The areas under investigation are the rangelands of western New South wales.
