A trial of nematode control carried out in pots in a glasshouse at 25+-2 deg C showed that cadusafos and fenamiphos are equally effective in reducing attack by and reproduction ratio of Meloidogyne incognita on cantaloupe cv. Hale's Best without causing phytotoxicity. Less effective was aldicarb, which, at the highest rates of application (2.83 and 4.52 mg a.i./500 cube cm soil), suppressed seedling growth
