Suryaningsih, E. (Balai Penelitian Hortikultura, Lembang (Indonesia))
Cercospora leaf spot (frog eye) and Anthracnose are important diseases on pepper. Loss of production was recorded 30-40 percent for Cercospora leaf spot and 60-80 percent for anthracnose, respectively. The effect of Anvil 50 SC (0,025 1/100 l water, 7 days interval); Anvil 50 SC (0.05 1/100 l water, 7 days interval); Anvil 50 SC (0.1/100 l water, 7 days interval); Anvil 50 SC (0.025 l/100 l water, 10 days interval); Anvil 50 SC (0.05 l/100 l water, 10 days interval); Anvil 50 SC (0.1 l/100 l water, 10 days interval); Delsene MX 200 (0.2 kg/100 l water, 7 days interval) as standard and control (no fungicide) as treatments were tested for controlling Cercospora leaf spot and Anthracnose on pepper in Pangalengan (1500 m asl) in August 1992 until March 1993 during rainy season by using RBD with four replications. Anvil 50 SC (0.1 l/100 l water, 7 days interval) and Anvil 50 SC (0.05 l/100 l water, 7 days interval) were considered to be the best treatment for controlling Cercospora leaf spot and Anthracnose. The second best was recorded by Anvil 50 SC (0.1 l/100 l water, 10 days interval) and Anvil 50 SC (0.025 l/100 l water, 7 days interval) for controlling Anthracnose and Cercospora leaf spot, respectively. The highest and the lowest yield were given by Anvil 50 SC (0.1 l/100 l water, 7 days interval) and control, respectively
