International acts as well as the organization and administrative changes in Slovenia, regulating a new nature protection and huntsmanship are stated in the article. The author discusses the motifs those who decide on occupying themselves with hunting and their attitude towards game protection; the directions modern hunting is supposed to follow in the future are explained in the time when the new act on hunting and game is being in preparation.
