allemand. Der Pseudomonas AP-3-Stamm, isoliert aus Reisboden, verwertet 2-Aminophenol als Kohlenstoff, Stickstoff und Energiequelle. Diese Pseudomonas-Spezies synthetisiert das Enzym Dioxygenase, das die Ringspaltung zwischen der 1- und 6-Position des 2-Aminophenols, unter Verbrauch von 1 Mol Sauerstoff pro Mol Substrat, katalysiert. Bei pH 7,5 liegt die maximale Enzymaktivitaet. Es ist zwischen pH 7,5 und 9 bei 35 Grad C stabil und besitzt eine Molmasse von 140 kDa bestimmt durch Gelfiltration auf Toxopearl.
