Tractor-mounted foam generator provided for firefighting and protecting plants against the frost was described. Method and results of measuring technical and operation parameters of foam generator were presented. Special emphasis was put on the characteristisc of obtained foam, its outdropping (halfvalue) rate, stream uniformity and maximum range of foam ejection
