Increased turbidity of water in Jastrzebiec stream, a source for water supply system in Zawoja, was continuously measured within 1992-95 by the use of photometrical technique. Either, the frequency and duration of increased water turbidity were studied. On that basis the index of water intake turbidity was calculated
