Measurements of basic flow velocity fluctuation characteristics in rough stream beds

Fluctuations of the stream flow velocity was determined using hydrodynamic propeller to measure the momentary velocity in 0.5 sec intervals. The measurements were taken for different roughness of stream bed load. Average velocities, the Reynolds number, shear stress and Shields' stress were calculated. Reynolds number calculated by using different equations were compared
