anglais. In the Natural Parc of Argentera and Mercantour groups of silver fit of a great ecological and historical importance are present. The species is found in the more internal and high zone of the massif, associated with red spruce (Picea abies Karst.), beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) and european larch (Larix decidua L.). After having illustrated the historical events of the forestry peopling of the Park, the Author describes the ecological and dynamic characters of the fir tree formations and analyses also the analogies between the Corsican fir and the Alpine fir

La specie e' diffusa nella parte piu' interna ed elevata del massiccio montuoso, associata ad abete rosso, larice e faggio. Dopo aver illustrato le vicende storiche dei popolamenti forestali del Parco, l'Autore descrive le caratteristiche ecologiche e dinamiche delle formazioni d'abete, analizzando anche le analogie che esistono tra l'abete delle Alpi Marittime e quello della Corsica
