[Method of producing ready-to-use breakfasts from cereals]

The method of producing ready-to-use breakfasts from cereals, mainly maize, is proposed. According to the invention as the raw material unprocessed grain with natural moisture content is used. It is cut up to particles 4.0 mm in size and on addition sugar and salt a mixture of receipt components is obtained. The mixture is put into the extruder of the type A1KKH2P produced by "the Production Association "Elevatormelmash" (Elevator and Milling Machines) (Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine) where extrusion simultaneously with heat treatment is performed at the temperature 220 deg C and the pressure 0.2 MPa for 90 sec. Such a decision of the task provides increase in food fibres content against the prototype by 2-3 times and keeps native properties of the raw material, cuts labour inputs and energy consumption by 2-3 times
