Domestic sewage treatment in the country area in plant-and-soil based treatment stations

The research period lasted 480 days - from July 1993 to October 1994. Data BOD5, COD, total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TNK), ammonia nitrogen, nitrate, phosphorus, suspended soils, pH and other indexes and agents were analysed and compared. Data purification of domestic sewage in semi-technical scale soil-flora treatment plant were compared to the experimental plot from the same area irrigated by water from the Widawa river. Obtained data indicated very high efficiency in purification of domestic sewage this soil-flora treatment plant. Data obtained from winter and summer period were similar. The authors think this kind of treatment is particularity appropriate in the country areas
