Political economy of credit intervention in agriculture

Basic research methods concerning political economy and public choice theory have been presented in the article. The author focuses on their suitability for describing intervention activities undertaken by economics policy makers. Credit policy in agriculture has been taken as an example to generate more concrete rules driven from both scientific disciplines mentioned above. Current stage and forms of policy influence on credit relations in Polish agriculture have been determined as well
