This annual report gives details of the activities of CARDI Grenada, from 1st October, 1985 to 30th September, 1986. The work concentrates on crops and livestock that were important both for food security and the retention and earnings of foreign exchange. Data are tabulated for experiments which concentrate on the following areas: onion production systems; tannia/legume intercropping; corn/sweet potato intercropping; corn/pigeon pea intercropping and protein energy banks for small livestock. In addition, a description of the multiplication of planting materials of legumes, cassava, aroids, sweet potato and shallot established at the field station at Calivigny is given.
