Separator is one of the important part for Supercritical Fluid Extraction unit which can separate an extract-solvent system based on its solubility. The objective of the activity was to design and construct a separator which include its specification, technical drawing, and working drawing. The separator was consisted of a single ended cylinder in which two co-axially installed tubes, 1/4" and 3/8" intruded in such a way that the extracted oil can be separated from carbon dioxide. The separator capacity was 9.5 l and will be able to operate at working pressure 16 MPa, at 30-90 degree C temperature. The separator was tested satisfactorily and it was also believed able to serve as an extractor as well
