The deposition of immission substances with precipitational water, chemistry of soil water and soil on research plots in the eastern part of the Ore Mts. were observed. Since 1978 the research has been conducted on weedy and reforested cuttings as well as on the plot Moldava where the damaged mature spruce stand was cut in 1981 and where the mountain ash advance growth has been gradually developing. Young stands of spruce, birch and mountain ash were investigated on the plots Nova Ves v Horach in the period of l984 to 1992. The research results show that the forest ecosystems were maximally loaded by acid deposition during the first half of the 80s. Proton fallout (H ions) decreased after the year 1985. The evident reduction of immissions, H+, sulphates and decrease of deposition of N (nitrates and nitrites) as well as F- have been seen first in the 90s. Content reduction of heterogeneous substances in precipitation responds also to their concentrations in soil water.
