Agrarian connections of the European monetary union

The contribution is focused on proposed influences of the EMU creation on the agrarian sector. Introducing Euro has had a special significance for agriculture since 1999. In connection with its introduction the EU has had in the first time in fact the same prices of agrarian products and a discrimination connected with monetary rate is the past. The same is analogically valid for direct payments into agriculture. For entrepreneurial subjects it means a higher planning and calculation security in a sense of investment decision making. The Euro means for agriculture in the EU internal market a higher market transparence. This all leads to an improvement of internal and international competitiveness.
