Influence of tillage systems on weed infestation of crop canopy in the crop rotation on rendzina soil

The zero tillage significantly increased the individual number of weeds as total and perennial weeds before harvest, when compared to the minimum and classic tillage on rendzina soil. Zero tillage also increased weed species number. No matter what the cultivation system employed was, higher density and biodiversity of weeds appeared in horse beens and spring barley than in winter wheat. Setaria glauca was the dominant species, among-lived weeds in horse been, Avena fatua and Echinochloa crus-galli - in spring barley and Avena fatua - in winter wheat. Whereas Agropyron repens among perennial, was the most numerous in all studied crops. Air dry weight of weeds was significantly higher in the case of horse beens than in the two other crops of crop rotation
