[A prototype of a six isodiametric wheel drive tractor for deforestation works [Veneto]]

In this paper first results of tests and description of a six wheel drive tractor that belong to a research program about the development of prototypes of machinery for forest employments are reported. The realized prototype with six wheels drive of same diameter, two placed on front axle and four placed on rear axle, derives from a production model of tractor on which were made changes on front and rear axle and on three point linkage, on which a forestry winch was mounted. Rear axle was modified for the arrangement of two articulated principal arms of suspensions each carrying two wheels of same diameter sustained by swinging arms; front axle was modified inserting a thickness between the pivot of oscillation and its support on the tractor to get big wideness of oscillation. Derivation of the prototype from a production model of tractor constitutes a merit because could offer advantage for possible future industrial developments of production

Nella presente memoria vengono riportati i risultati dei primi rilievi e la descrizione di una unita' motrice che e' parte di un programma di ricerca sullo sviluppo di prototipi di macchine per impieghi forestali. Il prototipo, realizzato con sei ruote motrici isodiametriche, due poste sull'assale anteriore e quattro su quello posteriore disassabile, deriva da una trattrice agricola di serie sulla quale sono state apportate modifiche sull'assale anteriore e posteriore e sull'attacco a tre punti sul quale e' stato montato il verricello. L'assale posteriore e' stato trasformato per l'inserimento di due bracci principali articolati di sospensione ognuno portante due ruote isodiametriche sostenute da bilancieri. L'assale anteriore e' stato modificato inserendo uno spessore fra il perno di oscillazione ed il suo sostegno sulla trattrice, per ottenere grande ampiezza di oscillazione. La derivazione del prototipo da una trattrice di serie costituisce un pregio, in quanto potrebbe offrire vantaggio per eventuali futuri sviluppi industriali di produzione
