For the assessment of the physiological selected bioindicators for the energy-primary and secondary metabolism ot the needles have been investigated on monitoring plots (level 2) in Brandenburg periodically. - Seasonal and local differences and between damage classes and particular parameters e.g. dry weight of needles, moisture content, content of chlorophylls, proline and tannins were presented. In summary the results of 1995, 1996 and 1997 the modifications of the content of amino acids, phenolic compounds and of parameters of the water status attracts attention.
