In crop rotation: sugarbeet - winter wheat - faba bean - winter barley plus catch-crop, the effects of three soil sillage systems: ploughing, field cultivator and direct sowing on winter wheat yield, structure of yield, energetic effectiveness index and weeds have been studied. The compared tillage systems did not differ significantly the average grain yields and structure of yield. On objects with field cultivator and direct sowing the energetic effectivenes index was higher by 6 and 2 percent respectively, as compared to ploughing. Reduced tillage caused an increase of total number and weight of weeds. The grain yield was positively correlated with the number of grains per ear, weight of grain from one ear and lenght of ear
