The capture efficiencies of three types of electric fishing equipment were compared using hatchery-reared juvenile grayling and brown trout in a semi-natural Swedish stream. There were no differences in capture efficiency of trout between the three equipment types, but new equipment (comrising a 2400 W generator and a throwing anode) resulted in significantly increased capture efficiency of gryling
