The study covered pepper cultivated in greehouse and fertilized with potassium: K2SO4, KCl, KNO3 ans mixture of KNO3 and KCl where the ratio of K was as follows: 1:1, 2:1, 1:2 and how it affected the fruit yield and contents of dry matter, vitamin C, sugar and chemical composition of substrate and leaves. The fruit yield of pepper fertilized with K2SO4, KNO3 did not differ significantly. The leaves of pepper fertilized with KCl contained least nitrates and potassium and most calcium and chlorine, as compared with K2SO4 and KNO3. The fertilizers researched changed substrate EC slightly. The mixture of KNO3 and KCl (1:1 and 2:1) turned most favourable for pepper ciltivation
