GPS technology and the possibilities of it application in agriculture and assessment of natural environment conditions

The paper presents the principles of GPS technology and describes basic methods to determine positions as well as analyses their accuracy. Possible application of GPS technologies in agriculture and monitoring of natural environment are discussed. Some results of water vapour content determined at the sities composing permanent GPS network are also presented in the paper
