Prabucka, A. | Udala, J. | Prabucki, J. (Agricultural University, Szczecin (Poland))
It was showed that semen collected from the oldest drones (over 36 days old) was of a slightly worse quality than that of younger drones at the age from 16 to 35 days. It refers in particular to semen volume and spermatozoa motility and morphological changes. It was showed that the number of drones delivering semen is an important factor in the breeding use of drones and the adapted system of evaluating morphological changes of spermatozoa may be useful in semen valuation
