anglais. [A grassland of 5 hectares was divided in corrals; 7 boars and 60 sows were located in a set of them, in order to verify the technical and productive feasibility of outdoor sow breeding. During first 20 months, feasibility of outdoor management of sows and boars was demonstrated and, as a result of the first three farrowing cycles, the effect of season on number of newborns per litter (10.7 and 11.0 in winter and spring and 12.1 and 11.7 in Summer and Autumn) and on % of deaths per litter (15.4 in Summer vs 29.7, 31.8 and 24.8, respectively, in Autumn, Winter and Spring) was shown]

Un'area di 5 ettari di terreno inerbito venne suddivisa in recinti e vi furono immesse 60 scrofe e 7 verri allo scopo di verificare la fattibilita' tecnica e produttiva di un allevamento di scrofe allo stato brado. I primi 20 mesi di allevamento hanno confermato la fattibilita' della gestione all'aperto delle scrofe e dei verri e, a consuntivo dei primi 3 parti, hanno fatto emergere l'influenza della stagione sul numero di suinetti nati per parto (10,7 e 11,0 in inverno e primavera vs 12,1 e 11,7 in estate ed autunno) e sulla % di morti allo svezzamento (15,4 in estate vs 29,7, 31,8 e 24,8 rispettivamente in autunno, inverno e primavera)
