The relationship between thickness swelling and mat structures in robot-formed flakeboard mats under humid conditions with consideration of the density/overlaps in the flakeboard and the absorbed moisture has been studied. Resultsshow a highly correlated linear relationship between thickness swelling and relative moisture content. The relationship between moisture absorption coefficient and the density/overlaps is also linear.

Die Beziehung zwischen Dickenquellung und Mattenstruktur in maschinengeformten Matten fuer Spanplatten wurde unter feuchten Bedingungen untersucht, speziell im Hinblick auf Dichte oder Ueberlappungen in der Spanplatte sowie auf absorbierte Feuchte. Die Ergebnisse zeigen eine streng korrelierte lineare Beziehung zwischen Dickenquellung und relativer Feuchte. Die Beziehung zwischen dem Feuchteabsorptionskoeffizienten und der Dichte bzw. Ueberlappungen ist ebenfalls linear.
