The object of the research was to determine content of exchangeable and water soluble forms of Ca, Mg, K and Na in lessive soils of the Poscian Plain. The content of both forms of these components and their mutual ratios were determined in soil samples taken from 29 profiles. In the case of the both examined forms, distinct diferences with respect to concentrations and mutual relations of individual components in the soil profile were found
