The aim of the research was to evaluate the effect of wicker plantation on changes in the content of copper and zinc and in the enzymatic activity in light soil fertilized with sewage sludge. It was stated that the growth of wicker biomass caused a twice as big decrease in the average content of Cu and Zn in the light soil fertilized with sewage sludge. Cultivation of wicker also positively influenced the changes in the activity of dehydrogenase and urease in the investigated soil
