The aim of this study is the evaluation of in vivo performances and environmental adaptation of Brahman and North American Chianina calves, reared in a tropical Mexican area. On 4 females (BF) and 5 males (BM) of Brahman cattle breed and 5 females (CF) and 7 males (CM) of Chianina cattle breed, data of live weight and biometrical measures were recorded from the birth to 12 months of age; Benezra coefficients (BC) were evaluated too.
