Lettuce yielding as forecrop in the simplified glasshouse culture

The work contains results of a two-year-old research. Its purpose was to estimate how a simplified culture system affects the fertility of the following of lettuce: 'Charlene', 'Marius', 'Sonata', 'Syrena', and 'Votan'. The simplification meant omitting a seed-plot stage. The seedlings were planted at the place of a permanent culture. The results indicate that such significant differences in a relation to the traditional, more complicated way of culture have been observed in most culture cycles. The cultivar 'Charlene' was as the most useful one
