Le réchauffement climatique (prédictions futures et observations récentes) en lien avec les émisions de GES

The warming of the climate is by now admitted by everybody. The understanding of its causes will make it possible to limit its magnitude and also to contemplate its consequences on the biological systems, the agricultural productions and, more specifically, the forage systems.This warming appears to be due to the increasing concentration of certain gases in the atmosphere (CO2, CH4, N2O…) which are of anthropic origin and contribute to the reinforcement of the natural greenhouse-effect. Warming and the increased CO2 concentration stimulate photosynthesis, but the changes in rainfall, erratic and uncertain, may compensate this effect. The models give indications on the changes in temperature and in rainfall, which differ regionally (French regions, Mediterranean zone…). The effects on the biological systems will be quite numerous (phenological rhythms, production level and production variation, location, problems of weeds and diseases, effects of climatic extremes…). The production systems will have to be adapted or to be transferred elsewhere according to the speed and magnitude of the changes.

Le changement climatique est maintenant admis par tous. En comprendre les causes permettra d'agir pour limiter son ampleur, mais aussi d'envisager ses répercussions sur les systèmes biologiques, les productions agricoles, et plus particulièrement les systèmes fourragers.Le réchauffement climatique semble causé par l'accroissement des taux atmosphériques de gaz à effet de serre (CO2, CH4, N2O…), d'origine anthropique, qui contribuent au renforcement de l'effet de serre naturel. Le réchauffement et l'accroissement du taux de CO2 stimulent la photosynthèse, mais les modifications pluviométriques, variables et incertaines, risquent de compenser cet effet. Les modèles donnent des indications de modifications thermiques et pluviométriques, différenciées selon les zones (régions françaises, zone méditerranéenne…). Les impacts sur les systèmes biologiques seront très nombreux (rythme phénologique, variabilité et niveau de production, localisation, lutte contre adventices et maladies, impact des phénomènes climatiques extrêmes…). Les systèmes de production devront s'adapter ou se déplacer selon la rapidité et l'ampleur des modifications.
