Determination of Yield and Yield Components of Some Kernel Corn Genotypes in Diyarbakır Main Crop Conditions

This study was carried out to determine the some corn genotypes with high yield suitable in Diyarbakır main crop conditions. In research were used 36 genotypes in 2010 year, 24 genotypes in 2011 year as material. The research were conducted at the experimental field of GAP International Agricultural Research and Training Center. The experimental design was a randomized complete block with three replications. According to data obtained from the research; plant height 207.5-283.8 cm, first cob height 56.5147.5 cm, the number of days blooming 55.7-65.7 day, kernel/cob 79.64-88.98%, 1000 kernel weight 270.77-355.33 g, moisture 8.2-15.1% and kernel yield between 653.9-1 185.3 kg/da in 2010 year. Plant height 245.8-303.0 cm, first cob height 92.0-152.5 cm, the number of days blooming 60.7-69.0 day, kernel/cob 80.9-87.4%, 1000 kernel weight 304.3-398.0 g, moisture 9.0-18.7%, single plant yield 143.2236.5 g and kernel yield between 961.5-1 474.4 kg/da showed changes in 2011 year. As a result; P31G98, Mitic, Shemal, OSSK-602, DKC6589, ADA 3.49, ADA-6.23, ADA 6.51, ADA-7.2, ADA 8.2, ADA 8.3, ADA 8.5, ADA 8.6, ADA-9.10, ADA-9.14, ADA-9.2, ADA-9.5, ADA-9.7 and ADA-9.8 genotypes had higher values in respect to yield in Diyarbakır main crop conditions.
