Nutritional situation of the population in the context of trends in agriculture in the Slovak Republic

The article deals with the nutritional situation of the population in the context of agricultural production in the Slovak Republic, the imbalance of basic nutrients and opportunities to improve the achievement of plans, programs and goals for improving health. It analyzes the development and structure of plant and animal production, the use of crops for energy purposes, as well as other trends related to greening or climate change. It also contains information on funding opportunities for farmers, as well as some environmental aspects, such as the average carbon content of the soil or initiatives to use water for agriculture.
