Influence of agroecological factors on the growth, development and harvest of Jerusalem artichoke on the foothills of the Lechkhumi Region.
2021
The paper discusses the impact of agroecological factors on the growth, development and yield of the Jerusalem artichoke (Helianthus tuberosus L.) within Lechkhumi foothills at the altitude of 1000-1100 m a.s.l. Studies were carried out on the poor soil of the agricultural cooperative "Sozalia”, without the use fertilizers and herbicides. As a result, environmentally friendly harvest was obtained. Studies have shown that Jerusalem artichoke, under favorable conditions of growth and development in Lechkhumi district, gives a rather abundant quality product, which is an important reserve for raising the agricultural economy.
