anglais. Various factors influence the crop yield formation. In the Voronezh region, one of the factors limiting the yield is moisture. There are presented the results of studies carried out in order to determine the effect of various doses (10, 20 and 40 kg/ha) of functional water-retaining fertilizer (FWF) on soil moisture retention and yield of soft winter wheat in conditions of the forest-steppe of the Voronezh region. A decrease in soil moisture below 60-70% of the minimum moisture-holding capacity (MMC) (maximum field moisture capacity) negatively affects the development of plants, and with the maximum realization of varietal characteristics of plants, in particular winter wheat, its growing needs up to 900 l of water. Soil water capacity was calculated in view of the moisture already contained in the soil during sampling and amounted to 40.5% in the control sample and 52.5% in the sample containing the FWF. Soil enrichment in functional water-retaining fertilizer can provide up to 12% of additional moisture available to plants, which can be estimated as an increase of about 300 t/ha of productive moisture necessary for crop yield formation. Higher values of crop structure elements were noted when applying 40 kg/ha of FWF, however, such a dosage of a functional moisture-retaining fertilizer significantly increases the production expenditures and, as a result, prime cost, therefore this variant is recognized as economically unprofitable. The dose of 20 kg/ha of FWF is optimal, since in this variant, at average production expenditures the analyzed crop structure indicators exceed those ones in the control variant, namely: the number of plants per 1 m2, the number of kernels per ear, weight of kernel per ear and thousand-kernel weight are higher by 7 pcs, 5.2 pcs, 0.49 g and 2.6 g, respectively, as compared to control. Due to application of 10, 20 and 40 kg/ha of FWF the yield of winter wheat increased by 0.37, 0.89 and 0.11 t/ha, or by 9, 21 and 26%, respectively.

russe. На формирование урожая с.-х. культур влияют различные факторы. В Воронежской области одним из лимитирующих урожайность факторов является влага. Представлены результаты исследования, проведенного с целью определения влияния различных доз (10, 20 и 40 кг/га) функционального влагоудерживающего удобрения (ФВУ) на влагоудержание почвы и урожайность озимой мягкой пшеницы в условиях лесостепи Воронежской области. Снижение влажности почвы ниже 60–70% от наименьшей (или предельной полевой) влагоемкости (НВ) негативно влияет на развитие растений, а для максимальной реализации сортовых особенностей растений, в частности озимой пшеницы, необходимо до 900 л воды. Влагоемкость почвы рассчитывалась с учетом влаги, уже содержащейся в почве при отборе, и составила 40,5% в контрольном образце и 52,5% в образце, содержащем ФВУ. Обогащение почвы влагоудерживающим функциональным удобрением способно обеспечить до 12% дополнительной влаги, доступной для растений, что может оцениваться как прибавка около 300 т/га продуктивной влаги, необходимой для формирования урожая с.-х. растений. Более высокие значения элементов структуры урожая отмечены на варианте внесения 40 кг/га ФВУ, однако такая дозировка функционального влагоудерживающего удобрения весьма значительно повышает расходы производителя и, как следствие, себестоимость, поэтому этот вариант признан экономически не выгодным. Доза ФВУ 20 кг/га является оптимальной, так как на этом варианте при средних затратах анализируемые показатели структуры урожая превышают показатели контрольного варианта, а именно: число растений на 1 м2 – на 7 шт., число зерен в колосе – на 5,2 шт., масса зерна в колосе – на 0,49 г, масса 1000 зерен – на 2,6 г. Урожайность озимой пшеницы повышалась при внесении 10, 20 и 40 кг/га ФВУ по сравнению с контролем соответственно на 0,37; 0,89 и 0,11 т/га, или 9, 21 и 26%.
