The influence of chlormequat chloride on yield and yield components of common wheat cv. Bezostaya isogenic lines with Rht genes | Wpływ chlorku chlormekwatu na plon i komponenty plonu linii izogenicznych pszenicy zwyczajnej cv. Bezostnaja z genami Rht

anglais. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of CCC on yield components in common wheat cv. Bezostaya isogenic lines: Rht-B1a (tall — control form), Rht-B1b, Rht-B1d and Rht-B1e. The lines were examined in the years 2000/2001–2002/2003 at the Experimental Station of Czesławice. The obtained results were subjected to analysis of variance. On the basis of three-years long experiment we showed that application of CCC caused plants height reduction in analysed isogenic lines. The largest reduction was observed in the Bezostaya Rht-B1a and Bezostaya Rht-B1d lines, which contributed to significant decrease of lodging. Application of CCC caused an increase of spikelet fertility and increase of number of kernels per ear in the long straw. Application of preparations containing this compound did not influence unfavourably plot yield in the isogenic lines with various alleles of the Rht-B1 locus.

W pracy określono wpływ chlorku chlormekwatu (CCC) na komponenty plonu linii izogenicznych pszenicy zwyczajnej: Bezostnaja Rht-B1a (rośliny wysokie — kontrola), Bezostnaja Rht-B1b, Bezostnaja Rht-B1d i Bezostnaja Rht-B1e. Linie te badano w latach 2000/2001–2002/2003 w Gospodarstwie Doświadczalnym w Czesławicach. Uzyskane wyniki badań poddano analizie wariancji. Na podstawie trzyletnich badań stwierdzono, że zastosowanie chlorku chlormekwatu powodowało redukcję wysokości roślin w badanych liniach izogenicznych. Największą redukcję wysokości roślin obserwowano w liniach Bezostnaja Rht-B1a i Bezostnaja Rht-B1d, co przyczyniło się istotnie do zmniejszenia wylegania. Zastosowanie CCC wpłynęło na podwyższenie płodności kłoska oraz liczby ziarniaków w kłosie w liniach o najwyższych roślinach i nie wpływało niekorzystnie na plon ziarna z poletka linii izogenicznych zawierających geny z locus Rht-B1.
