La evaluación técnica y operativa de la planta de tratamiento de agua potable ubicada en el municipio de Chocontá, Cundinamarca, se realizó en base a los parámetros establecidos en la normatividad vigente del sector de agua potable, que fueron comparados con el diagnostico desarrollado, luego analizados y con la información obtenida se determinaron las falencias de las estructuras y procesos, y así se establecieron consideraciones de mejoramiento para optimizar el desarrollo de la potabilización del agua que es suministrada a la población.
