El presente estudio empieza indagando una problemática que ha venido tomando una relevancia significativa en los últimos 10 años, dicha problemática es la deforestación por distintas causas entre las que destacan la ganadería extensiva, los campos de cultivos y la minería ilegal. En este documento encontrara usted, un estudio multitemporal a lo largo de 9 años en donde se trataron cuatro (4) imágenes satelitales de una misma zona de estudio (San Vicente del Caguán-Cartagena del Chairá), con el fin de analizar, cuantitativa y cualitativamente el cambio de coberturas en dicha zona, las probables causas de esta deforestación y una evaluación de la clasificación de las imágenes satelitales.

In this document you will find, a multitemporal study over 9 years in which four (4) satellite images of the same study area (San Vicente del Caguán-Cartagena del Chairá) were treated, in order to analyze, Quantitatively and qualitatively the change in coverage in this area, the probable causes of this deforestation and an evaluation of the classification of satellite images.
