The article presents results and prospects of breeding of spring naked barley in the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing. The material for the study was 127 lines and numbers of thin-film and naked barley. In Kazakhstan, there are almost no varieties of thin-filmed and naked barley (Hordeum vulgare). The grain industry is mainly provided with varieties of glumiferous forms, and therefore it incurs huge costs for removing the film, which hinders to a certain extent its productivity and profitability. In this regard, the creation of thin-filmed and naked barley varieties with a high level of yield is of particular relevance, and the creation of technologies for the selection process based on the use of methods of related biological disciplines in the following areas is of particular importance. / В статье представлены результаты селекции ярового голозерного ячменя в Казахском НИИ земледелия и растениеводства. Материалом для исследования служили 127 линий и номеров тонкопленчатого и голозерного ячменя. В Казахстане сортов тонкопленочного и голозерного ячменя (Hordeum vulgare) почти нет. Зерновая промышленность обеспечена в основном сортами колючих форм, в связи с чем она несет огромные затраты на снятие пленки, что в известной мере снижает ее продуктивность и рентабельность. В связи с этим особую актуальность приобретает создание тонкопленочных и голозерных сортов ячменя с высоким уровнем урожайности, а также создание технологий селекционного процесса, основанных на использовании методов смежных биологических дисциплин по следующим направлениям.
