The authors investigated the role of objects of agricultural heritage sites in the preservation and development of rural society. The following methods were used: monographic, abstract-logical, analytical, formal-logical, comparative analysis, expert assessments, as well as systematization techniques. The criteria for the assessment of objects of agricultural heritage of the Republic of Belarus are substantiated. The article systematizes international approaches in this area. It was noted that the experience of functioning of objects of agricultural heritage confirms their role in solving a number of socio-economic problems traditional for rural areas. It is determined that the direct benefit from the use of heritage is measured by three main indicators: the number of new jobs, income growth and an increase in demand for products from other industries. / Выявлено значение объектов агрокультурного наследия в сохранении и развитии сельского социума. Использованы следующие методы: монографический, абстрактно-логический, аналитический, формально-логический, сравнительного анализа, экспертных оценок, а также приемы систематизации. Обоснованы критерии оценки таких объектов в Республике Беларусь. Систематизированы международные подходы в данной сфере. Отмечено, что опыт функционирования объектов агрокультурного наследия подтверждает их роль в решении ряда традиционных для сельской местности социально-экономических проблем. Определено, что прямая выгода от использования наследия измеряется тремя основными показателями: количеством новых рабочих мест, ростом доходов и увеличением спроса на продукцию других отраслей.
