Escherichiosis of piglets is a very common infectious pathology in modern pig breeding complexes, which occupies one of the leading places in terms of morbidity and mortality of pigs and is a serious problem for all complexes. The aim of the work was to study the features of the course of escherichiosis in piglets under farm conditions and to elucidate pathoanatomical changes at autopsy. Macroscopic changes in the affected organs of the corpses of piglets showed that the main disease that caused the death of the animals was escherichiosis. There were characteristic signs of acute catarrhal inflammation of the stomach, small and large intestines, acute serous inflammation of the lymphatic apparatus of the small intestine and mesenteric lymph nodes. Dystrophic changes and hemodynamic disturbances in parenchymal organs were diagnosed, in particular, protein-fatty degeneration with focal necrobiosis of the liver tissue was expressed in the liver.
