Highly pathogenic avian influenza is one of the economically important diseases of wild and domestic birds subject to mandatory notification to the World Organization for Animal Health. In this article, the growth and antigenic properties of 6 strains of H5 subtype avian influenza virus have been studied. Hyperimmune sera were obtained, which were examined in hemagglutination inhibition reaction (HAI) in order to determine the degree of antigenic relationship between the selected strains. As a result, a strain of the virus was chosen, which will be used as an antigen for the production of the HAI kit. / Высокопатогенный грипп птиц – одно из экономически важных заболеваний диких и домашних птиц, подлежащих обязательному уведомлению во Всемирную организацию по охране здоровья животных. Изучены ростовые и антигенные свойства 6 штаммов вируса гриппа птиц подтипа Н5. Были получены гипериммунные сыворотки, которые исследовали в РТГА с целью определения степени антигенного родства между выбранными штаммами. В результате был выбран штамм вируса, который будет использоваться в качестве антигена для производства РТГА-набора.
