The results indicate that the existing cultural differences and economic inequality in the zone are important factors impacting these relationships. El presente documento analiza la interrelación de la minera Pierina con su entorno socioeconómico ambiental comprendido dentro del área de influencia de explotación y tiene como objetivos principales: (a) Analizar la interrelación entre la minera Pierina y los actores de su entorno (b) Identificar los temas de interés compartidos, puntos de coincidencias y divergencias, y el abordamiento de las mismas y (c) Generar elementos de juicio y desarrollar lineamientos para hacer más iguales y fructíferas las relaciones entre la mina. Los resultados indican que la desigualdad económica y cultural existente en la zona es un factor importante para las relaciones. The present document analyzes the relationship of the mining company Pierina with its environmental and socioeconomic surroundings. This analysis focuses on the area influenced by Pierina’s mining operations.
