Extract: This study analyzes the flow of agricultural inputs within the Syrian agricultural sector. Inputs identified in this report include feed, fertilizer, fuel, insecticides, machinery, seeds, and breeding stock. Each input has been discussed in detail with specific reference to marketing channels, pricing policies, imports, domestic production and storage. Problems associated with various inputs have also been discussed as well as recommendations for policy alternatives and projects for the next 5-year plan.
