Abstract: Recipes that contain no sugar, honey, fructose, or saccharin are presented. These products are not as sweet as one might expect a baked product to be, prompting the author to suggest that readers allow time for adjusting tastebuds. The sweetner used is a brand name low calorie sweetner. The recipes are designed for people on special diets, such as diabetics, and approximate diabetic exchange values are given. Suggestions are given for warming foods in the oven or microwave, for keeping foods refrigerated or frozen and for sweetening equivalants. There are 25 recipe divisions for breads, desserts, sauces and tea breads. An index is included. (KBC).
