Abstract: Various views of nonprofit organization management techniques are presented. Nonprofit organizations are growing dramatically in size and numbers and addressing problems of great importance with strained resources. Efficient management of such organizations is therefore particularly important. Nonprofit organizations generally fall into the categories of health facilities, education bodies, social welfare agencies, religious organizations, professional associations and clubs, cooperatives, unions, and governmental public service organizations. Critical management tasks are organizing to develop human resources, promoting employee mental health and fostering change. Problem definition and cost-benefit analysis are discussed along with tools for proper control which include fund accounting, zero-based budgeting and evaluation research.
